Getting Started

Creating a Project

Describe your idea, choose a subdomain, and launch your first crypto trading bot or dashboard.

Describe your idea

Start from the prompt box on the home page and describe the project you want. The clearer you are about the pair, the strategy, and what you want to see, the closer the first build lands — for example, “a grid trading bot for BTC/USDT with configurable grid levels and take-profit, plus a panel showing open orders and realized P&L.” You can also start from the Crypto Template Pack and refine from there.

What a good prompt includes

  • What it is — a trading bot, a portfolio dashboard, a signals screen, a backtester.
  • The market — the pair(s) and exchange you have in mind, e.g. BTC/USDT.
  • The rules — entry and exit conditions, grid levels, DCA schedule, take-profit, stop-loss.
  • The interface — the panels, charts, and figures you want on screen.

For the full set of patterns, see Writing Effective Prompts.

Choose a subdomain

Every project gets its own address on cryptohopper.app — for example my-grid-bot.cryptohopper.app. Pick a name when you create the project; Cryptohopper.AI checks availability as you type. See Subdomains & Hosting for the naming rules.

Public or private

Choose who can open your project. Private keeps it to you; Publiclets anyone with the link view it. You can change this later in the project's settings, so start private while you are testing a strategy and open it up when you are ready.

Build it

Press Build it and Cryptohopper.AI generates and deploys the project — you can follow each step in real time. Building and deploying is available to Cryptohopper Hero subscribers (see Cryptohopper Hero & Billing). When it is live, open the chat to keep refining it — see Chat & Refinement.
