Can I build a crypto trading bot without writing code?
Yes. You describe the bot you want in plain language and Cryptohopper.AI writes and deploys it for you. You can start from the Crypto Template Pack — grid bot, DCA bot, portfolio dashboard, signals dashboard, or backtester — and refine it by describing the changes you want.
Do I need a Cryptohopper account?
Yes. You sign in with your Cryptohopper account, so your projects are tied to the platform you already trade on. Connecting your account uses Cryptohopper's official sign-in — you authorise access without sharing your password.
What is Cryptohopper Hero, and do I need it?
Cryptohopper Hero is the top Cryptohopper subscription tier — but you don't need Hero specifically to build here. Any active Cryptohopper subscription (Explorer, Adventurer, or Hero) lets you build and deploy; each tier includes monthly AI Credits and live-project slots, with higher tiers including more. Sign in with your Cryptohopper account to get started, and see the pricing page for what each plan includes.
Where do my projects get hosted?
Every project you build is deployed and hosted for you on its own subdomain at cryptohopper.app — for example, yourname.cryptohopper.app. There are no servers to provision and nothing to configure; it's live as soon as you deploy.
Is connecting my Cryptohopper account safe?
Cryptohopper.AI connects to your account using Cryptohopper's official OAuth sign-in, so you grant access without ever sharing your password, and you can review or revoke that access from your Cryptohopper account at any time.
What can I build on Cryptohopper.AI?
Trading bots, portfolio and P&L dashboards, market-signal and news screens, and strategy backtesters — anything you can describe around automated crypto trading. If you can explain it, you can build it.
Do I need a separate subscription for Cryptohopper.AI?
No — any active Cryptohopper subscription (Explorer, Adventurer or Hero) unlocks Cryptohopper.AI. There's nothing extra to buy.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Builds and refinements pause until you top up AI Credits — but your live bots keep running. AI Credits cost $0.01 each and never expire.
What if I hit my project limit?
Free up a slot by pausing a project, or add a Cryptohopper subscription for more live-project slots. Slots stack across subscriptions.
Do credits expire?
Subscription credits refresh each month to your entitlement; purchased AI Credits never expire.
How much does a build cost?
About 600 AI Credits, varying with project complexity. Refinements are similar, and in-project AI is metered per use.
