From a free stock-data provider (Finnhub). You add a free API key in your project secrets, and the tracker shows live quotes and day change.
Is it real-time?
Quotes are near-real-time on the free tier (with a short delay). For most watchlist and dashboard uses that's plenty; you can upgrade the data plan if you need true real-time.
Can it trade?
No — this is a read-only tracker. If you want automated trades, build a stock trading bot (Alpaca) instead.
Which markets are covered?
